Cheltenham Festival
Tuesday 15th March 2011 Centenary Day A Very special day at Cheltenham as the racecourse celebrates a centenary of the festival, which has been held there since 1911, so come and spend a day packed with nostalgia six cracking races, and the feature race of the day being the most important hurdle race of the season, The Champion Hurdle. With this unique first day atmosphere it will be one of the most eagerly awaited racedays of the year.
Wednesday 16th March 2011 Ladies Day This is a fun day for all the ladies, as Cheltenham celebrate the role that women play in jump racing, with a ladies day fashion awards, and also the feature of a fantastic seven race card is the Queen Mother Champion Chase, won in 2010 by Ireland’s Big Zed.
Thursday 17th March 2011 St Patrick’s Day St Patrick’s day celebrated in style with another great day for the ladies with the St. Patrick’s Day fashion awards, carrying on the real Irish flavor of the day is the St Patrick’s Day Derby, funds raised for Cancer Research UK, The racing is exciting and competitive as ever, with the Ladbrokes World Hurdle with Big Bucks attempting to win for the third year in a row, a feat which has never been achieved before.
Friday 18th March 2011 The Gold Cup A huge crowd will attend the climax of the entire Jump racing season the totesport Cheltenham Gold Cup, to witness history in the making, if Imperial Commander can repeat his epic win of 2010, when he beat two previous and mighty champions, Kauto Star and Denman, also with another six races in the day, Not to be Missed.
